We propose the project of the establishment of an Aeroponic System Herbs and Greens Garden to be used in grades 7-12 Family and Consumer Science classes. The project could involve up to all 400 students enrolled in the building as they manage and grow herbs and greens to be used in FCS classes. The goal of the activity would be to have students become active participants in the production and management of their food, along with learning sustainable gardening practices.
